You are looking at a Santa Clara/Sioux hand coiled made from scratch incised bear pot by award winning potter Norman Red Star---all natural clay and very thick coil for strength---Norman is a master of sgraffito or the etching of designs/figures on pottery---he actually uses a needle to create all his intricate work. This pot features 2 large bears and a surrounding feather design. There are turquoise embellishments that surround the entire pot which makes this pot more beautiful. This pot is 3.25" tall and 4" wide. Signed and dated on the bottom. Amazing work!!!
